Anyone who has this hood plus the rain tray, Anyone see how different the IAT are, just wondering if heat extracts ok with the rain tray, so heat is literally going through those front drain vents then out the top vents?

I am running without rain tray and definitely see about 8 to 10 degree temp change....it is crazy how much heat expels thru the vents. Love this hood, and judging by the number of people who have commented to me about the hood...most agree

Is it just me, or should the cowl be an inch or so higher?

The actual real gt500 does not have the body lines on the hood running back to each side. Just has the cowl/vent and rolls upward on each side to blend to windshield. That is why it does not look as high.

Thanks for pointing that out!

I thought the same thing when I ordered mine. We'll see how it looks, may pay to have it done in gloss black to match the Black Accent package on my car. Time will tell.
I think it’s because cervini products are that exact same material... i.e. the grilles

Mine was delivered last night! Looks great in the box, should get to install it today, it was way to hot and humid out to be messing with heavy parts last night. Pics soon!

Already installed it, so I can't for the moment, but I will say that it feels heavier than the OEM hood. I believe that the shipping weight was 70 lbs, but that didn't include the insert.

You still haven't gotten yours?

Ok, here are a few quick pictures. Don't mind the ongoing construction in the background, I'm currently fixing up her house. The hood is definitively taller, which is noticeable from the cockpit. But the hood looks good, I may bring it to a body shop to have it aligned as it seems to sit a little low on the sides and I don't want to mess it up. The paint match was very good, I was a little worried, but I'm happy with it. The car needs a good detailing and the good needs a good buff and wax.
