That black with the red accents outside of magnetic stripes are just NASTY!! Congrats.

Even though I love my white with blue stripes, the performance blue and white stripes still make me jealous.... shhhhh.......

Finally arrived last week Monday and I picked it up. Unfortunately it was raining, so I spend a few days cleaning it back up.

Chassis #: K2433
Confirmed GT35R Engine

What a car. I haven't been able to put many miles on yet, but WOW. Definitely worth the wait.

Figured that since I've been looming on this forum for some time, that I actually register. Started with a 2016 Ecoboost at the beginning of 2017, put 2000 miles on it and allot of money into it, traded it for a used 2016 GT350 Tech pack at the end of September last year... put about 500 miles on that one, traded that one and here I am now with a 2019 K0473 with a MFG date of 3/19 that sat for quite a few months before delivery at the end of July. Now I'm dealing with warranty claims for a cracked rear tail light panel around the emblem, the adhesive on the spoiler lifting at all attachment points and the 3M adhesive on one of the brake ducts not sticking to the body. Had to deal with the standard hood gaps on my own.

I had the same issue with what Ford calls the rear appliqué. Finally got it replaced yesterday. Ford had to send the part 3 times before a part came that wasn’t damaged.

The tech who prepped my car wasn’t happy with how the rear s/wing was sitting. I am wondering, should there be a gap between the attachment point and the trunk?

And congrats on the car.

I have a clear gap on both sides of the spoiler where you can see the 3M adhesive and whatever rocks / sand it has caught. Water pools under it when I wash, so I would assume that it's to mount flush, otherwise water could seep into the bolt holes. How long did it take for warranty approval and part arrival for the rear piece for yours?

I had the multiple shipment issue with my 16 with a replacement spoiler. 3 different shipments and they all looked like garbage from Ford Performance.

When I took delivery, July 20th, the part was on backorder. The first one, which was garbage, was delivered on the 30th of August. One that was acceptable was delivered this past Wednesday and installed yesterday.

I had the same issue with the vents in the front quarter panels as well, both sides were replaced. My carbon fiber dash also had a chip in it and it only took two attempts to get that right.

The list of issues with my car are a mile long and I am still fighting with Ford. Thankfully the service tech is one of the good ones and is doing everything he can to get my parts replaced.

The next time I go back I am having them look more closely at the s/wing to see if that needs to be addressed.

Let me know how you make out.

If you get a chance can you take a photo of the issue. I am curious to know if my car definitely has the same issue.

I dealt with the paint and body issues with my Ecoboost on my own. I lived with the issues with my used 16 GT350 but I'm so annoyed with the issues on the 19. I didn't see them during the pre delivery inspection due to the blinding sun but noticed them during my first was and detail. I get that they are waiting on warranty approval but with cold weather approaching, my patience is wearing thin.

I finally bought my dream car! I purchased a used 2017 GT350R with 3000 miles and I couldn't be happier! I had been trolling Car Gurus for almost two years when I saw the beauty pop up and it was too good of a deal to pass up.

I've already made a few modifications as well (nothing fancy yet): red shelby lettering in the front and a phone mount.
