Other than the stripes on the sides, I love that Firebird. 4th Gen Firebirds are some of my favorite all time production cars. The shape was appealing to me, they drove great, etc.

I can tell by the pic that yours is at least a 98. I preferred the 93-97 nose but the 98+ tail with the honeycomb lights and separated backup lights.

Honestly though if the Pontiac was still available as a new car, I'd still get the S550.

yeah to me its a dumb rivalry...why not enjoy multiple brands...those die hard ford, chevy, bmw, etc fans aren't paid any extra to stick with one brand.

A true car person can enjoy any brand/model for what its worth.

Guess I should add...I have the mustang, Acura, Honda, Infiniti and Audi

This. We are not brand loyal. We also have Chevy Truck and a Honda Accord. I've had a Lexus and Mitsubishi too! We buy what we like. Seriously though.. I have some friends that are Chevy EVERYTHING. But! That is their choice!

Add us to the list of the house divided. The gt is the wife's. It makes the Z look tiny, cannot believe how big the mustangs have gotten!

During the time that my (now wife) had her 2000 GT convertible, I had a 99 z28, 99 c5, and 08 c6, among other cars. Never really seemed to notice that there was an issue. A cool car is a cool car, regardless of Make, imo!
