Widest rear tires?

Hey all, what is the widest tire has anyone put under a 2015 GT with out modifications other than rims? I'm looking at a 355/30R19 on a 12 inch rim.

That’s a lot of meat. The fitment guide on Apex Racing Parts website is very helpful, check it out. I think most people cap out at about 315 but it depends on the tire dimensions, not the tire size (e.g. 335mm).

The most tire I heard of anyone putting in the back of a 15+ is a 325/30/19 on a 19 x 11 wheel. Actually LMR used to sell that exact tire/wheel setup and many have bought it. Cooper tire is who LMR used for that size, mostly because of price. They are rather inexpensive.

The PP1 wheels are 19 x 9 front and 19 x 9.5 rear, and the stock tire size is 255/40 front and 275/40 rear. Generally you can get a 285 in the rear but that is about it. After you decide on a specific tire, go to tire rack and research that tire model and see what the manufacturer recommends for size. Once you pull up a tire, on the specs page they usually have the min and max wheel width and the recommended width for that specific tire size.
