Sorry i'm late on this brotha, t all depends on the wheel design you are after, that will actually effect the offset range for the PP.

Offset mostly determines if your tires hits the fender or the strut. Clearing the brakes is more a function of inner diameter and the geometry of the spokes.

Depends on the width of the wheel and the conical profile of the wheel too as the answer won't be the same for every wheel design out there.
