Factory tach shift light?

I didn't want to hijack Boostworks' thread with this subject, so I figured I'd start a new topic. In their video:

you can see the tach change to red when it hits (or gets close to) redline. I've had mine to redline a few times, and this hasn't happened (or I certainly didn't notice it). Is this only available on PP cars? Figured I'd post before I went down to the garage and started revving the piss out of her.

Hmm, maybe I just haven't taken her all the way there then. What color are you running your gauges at? Wonder if me making them orange just made it not as noticeable.

Definitely not PP related, might be Premium only. '10-14 has the same feature.

What is the redline? Or fuel cutoff. I know is marked at 6500 but then different shading until 7000.

Ecoboost Premium with PP and mine does it.
