I have a 2021 GT with active exhaust. I have removed the fuse so the valves stay open. I’m getting an axle back w/o active exhaust. Since the fuse is pulled, will I get a check engine light if I disconnect the valves to install the axle back? Thanks in advance.

If you didn't get an engine light with the fuse removed AND the valves, it should continue like this without the valves.
Best would be to use forscan and deactivate the active exhaust feature.

Do your drive modes still work with whatever fuse you pulled?

I didn’t get a check engine light when pulling the fuse. My drive modes don’t work but the valves are stuck open. I have a manual so not worried about driving modes. Just hoping that I don’t get a check engine light if I unhook the valves from the mufflers

The drive modes are all you’ll lose. If you want to test it unplug the valves with the fuse out and drive it for a few days.

The other option is just remove the valves and plug them in and zip tie them up out of the way and put the fuse back in. You’ll get drive modes back, which makes a difference in throttle response. The car won’t know a difference since the valves will still be plugged in.

Drive modes affect steering and suspension (Assuming you have mag ride) as well. If not, then obviously just the engine and steering. You probably lose the HUD tach as well.

U can also go the route of installing the AWE exhaust bracket. Just my 2 cents

^^This^^. This way you’ll retain drive modes and don’t have to pull any fuses. That’s the route I took when I installed my Steeda axle back exhaust.

I don't think you'll get a CEL. You'll probably just get the pop up that says "active exhaust not available." That's what I got when I was in the middle of my exhaust install and I started it up with no exhaust on it

I would be interested in the exhaust jumpers if you would like to get rid of them .
