  1. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I am quoting a post I made else where on the forum. I have discovered and confirmed I have two vibration issues. One is the tires (all speeds but especially prevalent at low speed cold temps) , the other is drive shaft related. "I am now on my third set of Continental DWS-06 tires in two years...
  2. Best a/s tires for base 2017 mustang gt wheels

I am now on my third set of Continental DWS-06 tires in two years and less than 5k miles. I originally bought them due to reading all the forms and good reviews. However, these tires have been nothing but an absolute migraine for me on a car I maybe drive 4-5x a month. Compounding this migraine...
  3. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I didn't quite understand what you meant by the following but I gave it a try, WOW! As soon as I slipped the car into neutral it reduced to almost nothing in the steering but still felt it in the seat. It is almost like breaking that connection by placing it into neutral prevents the vibration...
  4. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

So I have gone back to discount tire and replaced the three tires but one of the new tires won't road force balance less than 16 so they volunteered to replace it. The back tires are now less than 12. The car feels smoother and the mirrors don't appear to shake as violently like they did before...
  5. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

So today has been fun. I went to pick it up from the ford of Murfreesboro dealer and as expected they wanted me to go for a short little test drive and while the car felt smoother the vibration was still there just not as pronounced as it originally was. So they take it back and put it back on...
  6. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

After opening a case for Ford Customer service they reluctantly to finally agreed to swapping rims and tires from another car that they had to make sure didn't vibrate (according to them, i found this to be an odd comment) and low and behold they have sworn the vibration is gone and that the NVH...
  7. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I have opened up a case with Ford Customer Service on Saturday and was supposed to hear back something today or Thursday. So it will probably be Thursday before I learn anymore about it. I really appreciate everyone's input on the situation and for the tip about reaching out to Fords Customer...
  8. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I suggested that and they were quick to tell me they couldn’t/wouldn’t do that. I’m going to drill on it some more when I go pick it up tomorrow. 400hz is way to high for it to be tires
  9. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

So they did the NVH and found an unknown origin frequency at 400Hz. The dealer is now trying to tell me all four tires need to be replaced. Road force balance values are Front 20 21 Rear 53 and 58. These are the Continental extremecontact dws06's with less than 5k miles.
  10. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I am now in the same boat as the rest of you. I pre-ordered my car almost a year before taking delivery on it. 2015 mustang GT convertible, it is the first new vehicle I have ever had. The first 3-4 years and 20k miles were a dream. Car was smooth as glass. However in the past few months right...
  11. Best sounding H pipe

I too am convienced on the h-pipe roush setup. I like loud, but not the type of loud that I can't take a road trip (aka droning at constant RPM or IDLE). Would a h-pipe with resonator delete and a roush axle back give me what I want? Also, What is recommeneded for long tube headers ? And will...
  12. Tennessee/Middle TN

Anyone have a recommendation for a shop in the Nashville area (or w/in a max. 4hr drive) that will delete my cats, install long tube header, install h-pipe, and a roush exhuast? Also, what do you guys do about emmissions testing? Do they have bolt on cats I could isntall and retune come emissions...
  13. Best spent $700 on 2015 GT for performance

Btw to answer the original OP's post. My personal experience is the best, first investment is a Lund NGauge and then start saving for some better rear tires. With the special Lethal Performance is running on the NGaguge plus a set of back tires, you are not much over your budget and it will feel...
  14. Best spent $700 on 2015 GT for performance

Okay, got a few questions pertaining to this post. 1) Do performance headers detele the cats because I hear the cats are welded on the driver side headers (while it is bolted on the passenger side)? 2) Who are the more well known and reputable manufactures/resellers of headers? 3) Does anyone...

  16. How does this sound?[VIDEO] Cammed Tune from Lund Racing NOW AVAILABLE!!!

Any update as to when this will be ready for the automatics?
  17. Lund Racing N Gauge

Very curious to see stock airbox versus aftermarket with these tunes, I have several friends that are engineers at many of the major auto manufactures and I keep hearing they generally laugh at aftermarket intakes the past 5-10 years as they do FEA with the same computing power the movie...
  18. Bolt-on E85 dyno results 460hp-434tq

How hard was the injector swap? I have rebuilt a couple of diesels and some are easy, while others not so much, so I was curious. Also, would 65lb injectors be overkill? I ask because I am strongly considering Whipple super charging next year and don't want to have to buy injectors twice. Thanks!
  19. Lund Racing N Gauge

I am having the same issue regardless of how much I have in the tank. Also, I emailed lund and will post more later about it, but long story short. I used the tuner, tuned the car and they car was quieter and notice no performance gains at all, maybe even a power drop and the transmission was...
  20. 2015 Mustang GT Convertible Street AUTO SC

^ I am going to try to give you a call tomorrow. Does the Lund Racing N Gauge data log? aka wouldn't data logging for a while be useful building custom tune base-line tune for a supercharger especially since it is an auto? I think I want to do the tune now and over the winter break do a super...
