Check the clamps on the battery. Could be loose. And it doesn’t mean the dealer swapped a new battery in and not just a newer battery. Dealers will do anything to be cheap. I’d just swap the battery and see
Picked up the Meguiar's. 25$ at harbor freight. Good score. It worked good, quick hit the car after back to back days of busting bugs. The stuff is thick enough that it stays on for a bit before you rinse it off. And oddly smells like cherry robitussin.
How long do you usually let the soap...
What do you recommend for washing cars with wraps using a foam gun? Meguiars didn’t really do well to remove bugs and things. I started using chemical guys Mr pink and had been working really well where stuff just wipes right off pretty easy. I know it isn’t the best stuff. But needed something...
Yeah for real. Kinda what I’m thinking about doing after reading and researching. Again I can do the work, that’s not the issue. I have bumper to bumper warranty until 10/26 and powertrain until 2029 so was trying to keep some of it. Why I was looking the Roush route. Maybe I’ll just do...
Got the breakdown. Is 9k for the stage 2 Roush plus labor. So is roughly 12500 otd with tax. So approx 2600 for install. And is 11k for my local performance shop if I source the supercharger myself and have them install at 2k for labor. I may see if the Ford shop will do my MGW install included...
Ok then is realistic. The Ford shop I reached out to does them constantly and the master tech just does Roush/whipple installs. And performance work. Clutches, drivetrain, etc.
I went Steeda H pipe with the AE exhaust. Sounds great no rasp. I wanted to go full cat back but they all have an x pipe. My hearing is really sensitive and I can hear the rasp with every x pipe cat back I’ve heard and I just don’t like it. I’ve heard the magnaflow mod and the Borla atak in...
I have a 22 Mustang GT PP1,6 speed, and looking to boost it. I have factory warranty and CPO gold warranty. I have 7k miles on it. Just got it a few hundred miles ago and the shop I got it from doesn’t do them. It isn’t a Roush Ford store. I found one about 1.5hr from me and they do them. But...
I picked up a cheap foam fun and using the Mr pink chemical guys soap and it works really good. No spots or anything. And takes the tar, crap, and everything else right off with a mitt. Lightly wiping it works really good. Had some meguiars gold and been using that for long time and that...
Did a few things. Easy installs for me, never go as planned. I’ve read the instructions, forum posts, watched the videos, etc. And of course my car has different parts than any other I’ve seen lol. I did the Diode Dynamics sequencer and 4th brake light install. My reverse light plug didn’t have...
There’s a guy by me with a big turbo tuned out GLI I see daily on my way home. He rolled up on me one day. He doesn’t roll up anymore on way home. I hurt his feelings. There’s def some quick tuned cars out here and def would get me on a dig. Most are AWD. I had a built mk7 some years back...
That’s def from whatever spray cleaner was used. Looked like they went buck wild with tire shine and got it all over the calipers. They didn’t wipe it off. Drove the car so it heated them up and it cooked on ruining the finish.
