Just took her out for a spin before what looks like snow is coming!
Verified no clutch slipping all the way to 7000rpm.
Got home, parked in garage, shut off the engine. I got down to inspect the pedal up close and manually pushed and pulled the clutch pedal by hand. As i did this, the pedal...
Mine grabs halfway through the travel and that feels normal. It's just the overall travel is quite short which feels not normal.
Here's a picture of what it looks like. The distance of the pedals might be hard to see.
I recently had my 21 M1 in for service at the dealership for a noise in the drivetrain. They replaced the transmission under warranty. Car has about 6,000 miles on it.
When I dropped it off, the pedal was about in line with the brake pedal (normal for me after owning 3 other S550 GT's). After...
Car had one owner with around 6000 miles when i acquired just about two months ago. It had always made that sound since getting it.
Transmission replacement is definitely beyond my skill set. And beyond the amount of time i have. And you'd also need a lift.
I agree. I even sent the service department a couple threads from this forum to help them if the whole transmission didn't need replacing. But they were adamant that that's where the sound was emanating from. It's odd that after replacing the trans, the sound is gone.
They also had the sound...
I got the car back today. Diagnosis was to to replace the transmission which they said was the cause of the noise.
Drove a bunch of miles and the sound is gone. I read this thread and it sounds similar to my car...
Port Huron here.
Saw Lasco Ford in Fenton mentioned above. That's where i just snagged my 21 M1 a month ago!
I'll have to make my way to Birmingham when the weather gets better.
Here's mine.
I sold my Mustang that this armrest was in. In perfect condition.
Made by 5 Spurs. Really nice quality. Matches the black/dark gray interior.
Fits 2018-2022 Mustangs.
$75 shipped in the States.
I had PPF done over the whole front of the car, including fenders and A pillars, and roof. The installer suggested a couple routes becauseof the decal.
1. Remove the hood decal, apply PPF to the whole hood, then new decal over PPF.
2. PPF over everything.
He was concerned with the PPF possibly...
Yeah, same sound from the other thread. Which seems similar to the issue your driveshaft was causing.
In 6th gear, going about 70 mph, i dont hear it. It might still be there but i cant hear it over the exhaust/engine/wind noise. But it's most noticeable in 3rd and 4th gear in the 1800-2800...
Installed Steeda rails on mine. Zero fitment issues and no issues with the seam sealer. And they fit flush with the seam.
i love having them on. Makes jacking the car up much quicker and more sure.
I have an appointment in 10 days to get my car inspected at the dealership (still under warranty). I'll definitely report back what I find out.
In the meantime, I captured a sound clip last night. Hope this link works...
