  1. Which Mustang is the most reliable?

2022 GT here with only a little over 10K miles but she runs really really good :)
  2. Going Quad

Here’s the cleaned-up translation: In plain terms: He has a 2017 Mustang with a Roush cat-back exhaust, currently single exit per side. He wants the rear to look more muscular, probably by using quad exhaust tips and a square UK plate. He’s asking whether he can just trim the existing rear...
  3. Are people just not buying Mustang GTs (or cars for that matter)?

"Procharger HO w/P1x, Ported 2018 manifold, TSP LT's w/cats, Wengerd tuned, Gibson cat-back, Steeda dual rate springs w/Pro-Action dampers, Steeda c/c plates, Steeda bushing support, Steeda IRS subframe braces, Steeda billet vertical links, Steeda lateral & tension links, Steeda front and rear...
  4. help with wheels

I think gunmetal is the best compromise between wheels that dont look dirty instantly and are light enough to stand out on darker colors.
  5. Blew up my gen3 motor and don’t know where to go from here

Alternatively you could buy my car and sell yours as is for like 20K to someone that'll fix it :D
  6. Blew up my gen3 motor and don’t know where to go from here

this is why i bought a car with more power than i wanted and have had ZERO desire to modify the engine for increased performance. I wanted dead nuts reliability and this car hasn't dissappointed one bit.
  7. Blew up my gen3 motor and don’t know where to go from here

the thing people don't understand about tunes is TUNES DO NOT MAKE POWER. engines make power and a tune is supposed to PROTECT the engine. any tune that "makes more power" is probably sacrificing reliability somewhere.
  8. Blew up my gen3 motor and don’t know where to go from here

if this is really a huge problem you shouldn't be modding it like that to begin with. replacing the engine is the only logical move in this scenario. leave it as stock as possible. this is why I don't bother with tunes. most of the time they're fine but you might be that 1% guy and these cars...
  9. Texas 2022 Atlas Blue Mustang GT 6spd PP1 400A no spoiler

2022 Mustang GT Atlas Blue Performance Pack 400A factory spoiler delete 10877 miles as of this moment !!!!!!!!!!!! ZERO engine mods !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only use the ford performance oil filters and have a K&N drop in air filter Oil changed usually based on time rather than miles minor suspension...
  10. Order stuck in production without update

cancel the order and enjoy life.
  11. Hold out for PP2 or buy PP1 -> Track Build

MAch1 is better than a PP2 and more plentiful. i'd start with that. the PP1 gets a lot right out of the gate. i've only really done stuff to lock down the rear and the car drives great.
  12. Awful experience with beefcakeracing.com

I didn't read everything but it appears that your grievance was addressed, remedy was offered as well an explanation. then they interacted with other sin the same thread. 1. infrastructure and websites have limitations 2. if you have hard deadlines you need to hit its on you to ensure you do...
  13. Switching from staggered to square. How will this affect the wheel fitment? And how can I retain the spacing between wheel and fender?

i switched to apex 19x10 275/40/19's all around a while back and have loved it.
  14. Awful experience with beefcakeracing.com

the quality of a company is revealed not in good experiences but in the fog of mistakes and confusion. I've never used beefcake but they handled this perfectly and its legitimately impressive. almost nobody in this industry does anything BUT dropship the stuff they don't make personally in...
  15. S550 Mustangs depreciate 26.8% after 5 years

i believe it. a gen 3 performance pack is a lot of vehicle. i look at other cars all the time but mine has so much value for the dollar its hard to even think about trading it, i'd have to go up market for sure.
  16. BC Racing Coils versus Bilstein B6 + Steeda Minimum Drop Springs

go with bmr. my steeda minimum drop springs weren't level. i had to add spacer to one side to get them right. it was very weird. wish i would've gone with bmr. car drives good but wish i would've done bmr and a different shock rather than steeda adjustables..
  17. What modification do you regret?

same. i didn't like the dual rate steeda springs and then when i got the minimum drop springs they weren't level so i had to make a spacer for one corner in the front. i wish i would have gone with BMR and koni or bilstein struts.
  18. What is this part?

our car shave 2 sets of 8 injectors. 16 injectors, 32 valves, 8 pistons, no wonder the motors are so loud :D
  19. I Did a Really Stupid Thing

please accept my sincere condolences, sir.
  20. Any experience with Progressive or Progressive "Drive" car insurance?

that's weird. your car should totally qualify. mine isn't a daily driver so i don't put many miles on it, i've only got like 10K and its a 2022 so maybe thats it?
