You can use Reload. It's the same thing as Ceramic Pro SPORT, just much weaker. Reload is 5% silicone dioxide, and its meant to top CQuartz, which is a similiar coating.
Reload claims 6 months of durability, but SPORT claims 1 year. Sport is rather strong, as once you're done using the spray...
Thought the fixed it. Must have been a joke. Vibration is back and it's bad. I wonder if their hose clamp they installed to balance the shaft moved. Vibrates at 55-65 worse then before. lol. F*ck this car.
So I was installing my Corsa catback tonight and I looked at the driveshaft. They installed a hose clamp on the shaft. I believe the clamp is 1oz. They must have placed this in the correct position, as there's no vibrations.
Mine's fixed! Here's what the dealer did for me, no questions asked. They had an Engineer come and fix it alongside a technician.
Vetronix NVH Vibration Analyzer was hooked up
Determined issues.
Checked Driveshaft runout
Re-index driveshaft - recheck runout
On-car balance driveshaft...
I have run into this issue @ 4000 miles. I crawled under the car and my driveshaft yellow dots & pinion flange yellow dots weren't lined up perfect. I brought it to the dealer and showed them it. Just got a call that they had lined it up and it didn't make much of a difference ( according to...
On a car that will need a 1 step paint correction, I can see any coating run $1000+.
A Ceramic/Glass coating is scratch resistant, not scratch PROOF. A coating will NOT stop rock chips on the front of a car. Only a PPF, or Paint Protection Film will do that ( think clear bra ). Some people...
Mine's $366 a month, or $4400 a year! Between that and the car payment it's a mortgage! lol
I'm 21, male, no accidents, no tickets.....must be the age and the car. '16 GT Premium Performance Package.
Looks great. Mine is going in for Ceramic Pro 9h Gold Package next month also.
One thing to note; You want to wash a coated car with soap that rinses free and clear, and contains NO gloss enhancers or oils. You want the coating to be as pure as possible, and not have anything layering it, like...
I just hooked my battery tender up today. I also used the 2 10mm nuts on each terminal. My tender features a quick disconnect so I have that routed out of the battery box where the rest of the harness runs out of. When it's disconnected you can't even noticed I added anything!
Jacking up your car is 100% wrong. The suspension of a car is meant to be LOADED, not hanging.
Wash the car well
Change the oil
Fill the tank
And put it to rest.
Come spring, change the oil again, good to go.
Get IRON X. Read up on it. This will solve brake dust issues, or any ferrous material. It's used on the entire car prior to paint correction, so its perfect for wheels also. It dissolves ANY ferrous material.
Yes! Wash the wheels. Get a bottle of IRON X, by Carpro! Start with that. Spray them down, let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse off. I'd even grab a clay bar and do what you can. Then wipe it down with IPA, or some isopropyl alchohol to remove any oils/polymers. Then coat.
