5-15 percent vs 20 percent can anyone provide me pics ?



i'm also tinting the front windshield. what percent do you guys recommend?

This is 20% I think its pretty dark. Personally I wouldn't go any darker. Are you worried about cops because I see you live in Illinois and legal tint is 35%. But I have never been bothered with mine with 20%

my tint man says he goes with 35% on all his personal vehicles. NY tint law though, which is technically 70%, which is what the glass is from the factory.

Mine is tinted 35% it is the "legal" level in GA. Also, you are not allowed to block any part of the windshield.

In anything but intense direct sunlight it looks damn near limo tint.

We went with 20% all the way around. It gives the car a nice look but still light enough that the cops wont bust your balls.

I also live outside of Chicago. I going to get mine tinted with in the next few weeks. Like you I haven't decided on %. Iv been price at $250 from Umbra window tinting at 35% all around. I going to call around but who are you going with?

My current car is 35% all around, which is the legal limit where I live, but my 03 Cobra had 15% on the sides and 5% on the back. I loved it that way, but it could be hairy backing up at night if it was dark around-but then again, that car didn't have a backup camera. I would've gone with 15% all around this time if there were no tint laws, but we have to pass inspection here, and it's just a PITA with illegal tint.
