Did anyone determine what the cause of the fire was yet?

No, from what if been told there was too much damage and without spending too much money on an investigation

Thats crap. Did you like it enough to buy another one considering all this and no incentive?

I don't know how but I am currently at a ford dealership now

It sounds to me like you need to engage a lawyer. New cars should not just burst into flame. Its either a mfg defect or service error. I guess the fire official's report will be most important in this case.

So I lied. I said I'd leave but can't. Lol. Sorry.

Dude ^^ is correct. Imo they going to toy with you for a long time. It's the blame game. Insurance will not pay because it's a manufacture default or a mechanic failure..etc. dealership will stand by their man, and blame ford. Ford will not say a thing as they don't want to make a bigger deal out of something that may (or may not) be there. Weeks/months will go bye and their hope is you go away.

The car and evidence is trashed. Burnt and no one can determine what caused it. And the blame game will continue.

Just go talk to an attorney, it's free. They might surprise you and help. Good luck man.

Dude make sure you are talking to Ford direct and not the dealer or reps on here. Let me know if you don't know how to get a hold of the top ford folks. They have helped me. After what they have tried to do for me(really a dealer issue) I can't believe they didn't offer one at cost at least. And I really think I'm done at Ford anyways. GT350 wants or not. And I really like my ram.

If what you are saying is true - That's sounds like a BS excuse that Ford won't investigate why one of their new cars just suddenly spontaneously combusts while it's being driven down the highway...

Here's what you do - contact the NHTSA and give them your story and pics, explain how you're not getting anywhere with Ford and want the fire investigated.

Most local news stations have their own investigative teams - contact them too and let them know of the situation.. After all, your vehicle did make Yahoo news, BoldRide and many other sites...And I'm sure that LOTS of folks are following this story and the potential outcome...

http://www.autoevolution.com/news/2...isp-had-only-6k-miles-of-the-clock-92975.html

Just google "2015 Mustang catches fire".... Your story is on nearly every major automotive forum on the net...

To have such a fire and no one wants to determine cause??

So, are you being compensated by insurance enough to cover any money you had in the burned Mustang?
