I did not buy a Ford compressor this time. I’ll also have some more FatHouse porn when this project is done.

Got my wing finally and threw that on then went to TT Nats at Pocono. Part way through the day something kept blowing my brake light fuse. Real fun coming down the straight and then 3 different warning lights come on, kicks out of track mode, and no auto-blip. I could put it back in track mode but it would freak out again a few minutes later and kick it out. I ran it like that the rest of the day Saturday and opted to just watch Sunday. I was still improving lap times each session so I'll take the seat time as an overall win. Working on figuring out what's blowing the fuse. My wife and kids were there for Father's day so overall it was a great weekend!

Drove with windows down / valves closed for a short period of time, and noticed a pesky creak in the drivers side seat as I go over bumps / accelerate (R Recaros), sounds like it’s coming from left side towards the back, lower down…assuming plastic rubbing somewhere down there. Gonna try to track it down this weekend and get it sorted, but if anyone has dealt with this creak before and has a shortcut, please let me know…

Know all Ford owners become creak
-tracking experts at some point…but this car is worth it all hah, thanks guys!

Do you think it's related to the auto blip module? Did you just recently install it or have you had it on the car for a while?
I am assuming it is the xeneering model?

Driving this car without the valves open or the stereo on is a baaad thing. I've had multiple buzz rattles that were driving me crazy; finally resolved them (see my build journal). The issue is I think the buzz rattles were masking the creaking noise in the seat. I have the leather heated/cooled seats and same creaking. Was able to replicate it on a drive to Road America a few weeks ago by pressing down on the bolstering. The back road to elkhart lake is poorly paved in some areas and when I would go over a bump I would hear it. It's on my list to take the seat off/apart and figure out where to dynamat now.
Keep me posted on your journey to silent bliss

Yes and no. Yes because it came from the module on/off switch. No because it was user error. Apparently I shorted it somewhere during the install. All is fine now. I will say their support was super responsive in helping out. Nice there seems to be continual improvement in the product as even the installation instructions/video still mention tapping a couple wires for power, etc whereas the whole install now is fully plug-n-play. No tapping required.

THanks for the update. Yeah, It was more work when I did mine 2 years ago with all of the wire tapping and no switch included. Kind of annoyed me that they would put out an unfinished product. I understand the delay on the OEM harness for the brake pedal, but they could have easily added the on/off switch from the get go.
They also need to figure out an easier way to connect to the clutch.. that is a nightmare that I don't want to go through again.
Glad you figured it out.

Checked oil levels and saw a bit lower coolant levels. Anyone had issues with the water outlet? Did some searching on the forums and seems like folks have had a leak from this. I have some coolant tried up around the water outlet and some light coolant on the overflow tank.

Candidly haven't worked around the coolant system much - assume this is a pretty quick and easy install?

Just stared

and the irony is I never gave the upstairs mistress (996 GT-3) the same adulation over its bits and pieces that make the ponies push…
