Maybe drive by his shop and show him the PDF on how to align the rear. it is surprising how many shops think the mustang is not adjustable in the rear.

My math says if your camber was even, your pump bob difference left/right would be within 0.004"

I.e. you don't need to mess with recentering the subframe, the subframe is fine, you just need to get an alignment to even the camber, and for a street car, yes, just fix the right side.

Find an alignment shop staffed by men and not little girls.
I like your math. I'm starting with this option first but it's proven challenging to find such shop to do it.

I'm thinking that's what I'm going to do as well. I used the PDF at a local shop yesterday, they didn't want to tackle it

GIven the mechanism involved, I'd get selective amnesia too. :)
Moog parts make it a piece of (relative) cake.

It is simple. Get the car on the rack, loosen the adjustment bolts (set the machine up first) grab a 4 or 5 foot pry bar and slide the arm where you want it. Tighten it up and set the toe.

K.I.S.S principle

I think a solution is a few days away. Found a shop that not only does alignments but does frame work as well. If the alignment doesn't solve it, subframe adjustment it is. Fingers 🤞

Very true, and those that do know it's adjustable, know what a pain it can be to get to the camber adjustment.

I'll say it again. If you have a real alignment rack it is not hard to do.

Now if you are laying on the ground with strings and levels.........

Yep, I did mine with the Ford tech (Harley riding friend) at the local dealership, but not everyone has a hook like that.

Got a link?
I've been tempted to get the Steeda rear camber adjusters.

J&M / hot part also do a stainless version, which I think sits in the middle of the two (pricing wise) :like:

Thanks, WD! I just ordered it. It's about time to do another string alignment anyway.

(I sure hope that bolt is strong enough for the load.)

They are the same diameter as OE and they are 10.9's. They appear to be of quality manufacture, and with a quality coating :

you still need to take the weight off like traditional. The eccentric just makes the amount of movement predictable.
