Thanks for the update. I just checked the Mustang Tracking Website and it confirms your update. I hope that my car is in fact “Received -awaiting shipment.” I had a live chat with Ford Performance just last week and the agent informed me that my CFTP car was waiting to be shipped to Penske for the painted stripes. If the car has already been to Penske and back, that is an amazingly short period of time compared to what some others on this website has been experiencing. My car’s production date was June 8. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the tracking website is correct! And do not end up sitting in a rail yard days on end!

Your car was sent to Penske on 06/25/2020 and was returned today. I mentioned the release to Penske in Post #2233, but for some reason I never made the announcement. I updated the todays announcement showing the car returned from Penske.

You can confirm this by calling your dealer and have him send you the current copy of your Full History Vehicle Visibility Report.

Just got good news and bad news from my dealer. My car is in but there is a big chip on one of the carbon fiber wheels and a mark on the painted stripes that looks like it wasn’t buffed out and he wants me to come right away to look at it

Car is “IN”! Gouge on the wheel and two spots on bumper...looks like they sanded and forgot to buff out at Penske...wtf? No way I’m sending it back. Lol

Make sure you have the put the car on a lift and examine the whole underside and the wheels from under the car. Pay attention to any scrapes on the plastic shields.
