I grabbed a Shift Solutions stainless steel spherical shifter knob for $53 shipped. Went without any shift markings. Weighs about 1.1 lb. Great addition to my car. Smooths out the gear changes with less muscle needed.

Ok so here's the deal. I actually run a shift solutions weighted knob. It's a great knob. However, in just two weeks, the edges of the numbers have started to fade. Beyond that, shi(f)t solutions provides the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I have at least a dozen messages to these guys and they ignore EVERY SINGLE ONE. Man these guys piss me off so I can't endorse them one bit.

Hmmm. Waiting on delivery of one of their weighted knobs with engraving. Now I am nervous . Communication has been good though.

Ok Fellows, Grandpa Bill went with White Madness Garage, all white, with no gear engraveing.weighted…that way if some Moron try’s to steal it, and his daddy didn’t teach him how to drive a standard, he won’t be able to see the shift pattern, and just might give up.!! LOL..Believe me it has happened, especially in New Orleans…for true..in the papers.
Any how it looks great, and I’m letting it sit up over night to cure the blue lock tight…Thanks to everyone who gave suggestions.

LOL I don't think knowing the shift pattern would help them...
It's the fact that they cant wrap their head around the concept of a third pedal... let alone how to operate said pedal...

I did the same on my A10 mach 1

I even spent the extra money to get an OEM manual shift boot to hide the fact the car is an automatic.
