my 4.38 pully made 6# of boost. I switched it out with a 4" and made 7#. Interesting to see how you get to 12#. I also have the P1x and cut gears.
I Suspect there's more to your car's story if it only made 6. I assume yours is not 2018 or up. Crank pulleys are different. Procharger spec'd a 4.38 pulley for 12#. I have a 4.5" now to tune on 93 first (10 PSI). Lund didn't want to tune for 93 with the 4.38. If I need to go smaller I will, my goal is to get to 13-14# with the MAK H2 intake.

Did you go with a larger TB or MAK larger inlet tube? From what people say, by easing the flow restriction into the manifold by itself will take less boost from the centrifugal to make more actual boost which enters the Manifold.

if that’s actual boost on a stage 2 kit then belt slip might be the issue. Maybe just not tensioned right.

Good Luck. Keep us posted for your System Seems like a good one for the street.
Just did my first pull to redline with E85 (still set for only 10psi) and wow this car pulls.

Currently waiting on my stage 2 kit with the P1X, 1050x, asked for a pulley for 10lbs, NGK 6510, UPR catch can. 2016 PP 6-speed car, ‘18 ported mani, catted 1in 7/8. Very, very, VERY excited. Last update I got, they were waiting on a few parts. Ordered on April 26th, but I know it will 100% be worth the wait!
Apologies for hijacking the thread but I’m too excited to not talk about it!

LunarS550,

I am still stoked over my Procharger Stage II with P1X head unit. Right at 2K miles since the upgrade and no issues at all. I am running a big pulley (4.75") and have no desire to pulley down. My guess is 600 +/- at the wheel. On the street, it's like using a sledge hammer to kill mosquitos.

The power this set up makes on a street 5.0 is just outstanding. I personally don't recommend locking out the IMRC, I think this helps make more low end and overall better street manners.

But be forewarned, the tune is critical, not just for WOT, but overall drivability. The drivability factor can't be stressed enough.

Great to hear! What transmission? Gen 2 or Gen 3?

I’ve learned throughout my car’s N/A life that the tune makes or breaks your attitude toward the car. Which helped make the decision to switch over to Lund to tune it on the boosted setup. I’ve driven a similar PC setup tuned by Lund and drove like a stock car. Will most likely get it dyno tuned at some point if I find someone local southeast Michigan that’s dealt with these setups.

IMRC’s will be locked out due to tuners preference, most tuners prefer to just lock them out. Very difficult to get the IMRC’s tuned perfectly from what I’ve heard, at least with the 15-17 cars with ‘18 manifold.

Not sure what pulley they’ll end up sending with the kit, Lund said shoot for 10lbs for my power goal of ~650whp on 93 but not concerned as to whatever they send me as it’ll be enough for a street car for a while. I decided to do my OPG/CS since I’ve been waiting for over 6 weeks for the kit. Just for the peace of mind since I’m sure the boost will come in quick running 305/35/19 NT555 G2’s and 3.73 rear gears.

Maybe the 5.2's are different than the 5.0's?
