I had some Corsa Extreme catback and corsa extreme double x.....yes like they have said.....its loud.....I recently swapped the x pipe to the Borla Switchfire....it's still loud but to me it has a better loud tone....

Wow never seen anything like the Switchfire!

would love to know how it sounds against the MBRP I put on the GT350… I feel like a bit of a deeper tone would be nice

I just installed the MBRP x-pipe on my ‘17 GT350 two weeks ago. Found out that the car already had an H pipe on it from original owner. I swapped it for the MBRP and it still made a difference. It gives it a deeper growl and when slowing or downshifting, it sounds like a thunderstorm is following you. It is worth the install and price, especially if you have stock resonators.

So I purchased the MBRP resonator delete X pipe and when I received it it looks to be the "updated" version. Basically it no longer has what looks to be the X portion like that on the OEM resonator and pipe from Ford. The new update is with the two pipes coming together into themselves to create the X, welded together and cut out where they join. My question was has anyone noticed if the sound is different then the original design? MBRP says no difference in sound should be apparent but we all know that design does matter in sound. Just curious if others have heard them before I put them on. I went with these because I just wanted a bit more volume and they looked close to stock minus the resonators. Thanks!

Picked up the MBRP used for like $150. Took a little work on the openings since it had been installed before, but works and sounds great even with cheap replacement clamps from Amazon.

I love my MBRP.

Also, i love how differently the car sounds between e85 and 91. 91 gurlgles and belches a lot more but the e85 makes it sound much more exotic. I fill up with whatever mood i'm in.

MBRP resonator delete / X pipe went in last week and couldn't be happier. Just enough increase in volume with no change in tone. I did have it welded in, less concerns then clamps. Thanks to those who responded to my questions!
