HP fender extensions keep losing adhesive

Both of mine were coming loose. My Mach is at the dealer right now getting both fender extensions replaced under warranty.
I was shocked they did a full replacement. I'm about to be on my second set and probably a third next year with the way things are going.

I figured they would just do the tape over. Strange business

I’ve had the same issue, but I have also removed them several times to get behind the fender liners to install my fuel lines, power wires etc. you really have to make sure and clean all the old adhesive off the fender and the plastic extension. I use a sanding disc in a drill to clean the plastic flare, and a rubber sticker remover disc for the fender.
Use this tape and trim to fit

Personally I'd wire wheel the joint and put in plastic rivets
