BMR's Front Suspension/Subframe Brace ALMOST Here!

Yes, suspension was used in that title :cheers:



We are thrashing on our S550 Course Car this weekend in hopes of finally approving our 19th revision! Okay, not 19....but it is about the 5th design.

Since one of the designs has completely been discarded, here are some shots of that piece that I can share. These do not necessarily show the "full design" BTW...







Of course, our test car is running our 18x10.5" HRE's on all 4 corners, wrapped with Hoosier R7 Slicks. No better way to put our parts to the test than using one of the stickiest and widest wheel/tire set-ups we can use.

I am very happy about this piece - and I will share pics once we are really close to releasing it.



PS: The current design we are likely going to settle on, does NOT interfere with ground clearance like the competition's. :clap2:

Darn, I'm waiting for this, but the release of this brace will miss the big sale you'll have shortly. :(

Wondering what material is it made of and whats the weight?

The good news is....we may have a sale around Christmas too. Maybe it will be available for order by then? ;)

It will not be CM.

The weight, I cannot share quite yet due to a few reasons....but when you see it and how it actually works....you likely won't mind a few lbs being added there.

Will this work with a convertible as well? I seem to remember that your competition had some issues with that. ;)

There should be no issues on this piece with the convertible models.

What color red is it that you guys use? Plain red or race red? Will the above product be avail in red?

Yes, this piece will be available in Red, Black Hammertone OR BARE like all of our other steel fabricated components.

We offer our parts in Bare ($15 cheaper too, per part #) for those who want to custom coat them.

Looking forward to this. I have held off on the other brands brace several times now and glad I did.

Will these clear long tube headers better than the competition? I have heard there is some tight fitment with stainless works headers and the competitions brace. I am still undecided on SW vs ARH headers for my car.

I am a little burned out on comparing our stuff.

I will say this, our philosophy is to stop the loads by stiffening up the load paths, at the origination point. The loads placed into the subframes during heavy braking and cornering, come from the wheel and tire.
