DIY front licence plate mount (updated w. video + links/photos)

So I got a ticket for driving without front LP. And obviously nobody wants to drill their bumpers and have it permanently installed.

After a few tests I figured that its very easy and cheap to just grab a few GoPro helmet mounts and extensions and put it together.
One mount goes on the top part of the lower grill and the second onto the licence plate itself.

Works very good and takes a second to take off or to put on.

Very clever!

Very smart! Now to decide if I want to just do this or buy a Sho n Sto.

Would be nice to have some links to the mount and extensions for example and how they were put together.

Awesome!... i was just about to buy on of those 60$ mounts from ebay that mount to the bumper sort of like this. I would get some rubber bromets through the holes so it doesnt rub your bumper up

How has this held up - any updates to report?
