Haven't had a chance to install yet. Gulfcoast uses a thicker walled alum and there is foam inside d/s tube, they also use sonnax flanges and do not need any adapters. That should help with any vibrations. I will double check d/s angle but hopefully it won't need any adjustments.
Personally I don't find nittos any better then a good street tire. My old street bfg kdw would 60 the same as my nitto radials. The kdw was the best non drag radial I ever ran. To bad they aren't made anymore.
Put a mickey radial on it and be done, night and day difference
Sounds good, keep chipping away at those tenths.
Yeah prolly will take a verter and fuel change for 10.4s. I usually do a verter as one of my first mods just not crazy about what's available for 10r's.
Good luck!
I am not a fan of nittos and to me that's where your problem is.
Put a mickey, mh, or hoosier drag radial on it and be done.
11.60 @119 bone stock on a 275 m/t ss radial
Magazine articles are great and all but I am just going from personal experience. I had wider on my burb and they were terrible, went back to stock width and it was much better. When I put wheels and tires on my Expy i went from a 22 to 18 but stayed stock tire size. If wider worked better...
I keep 1 in my Expy, 1 in my Mustang, and 1 at home. The batteries last along time. I have had really good luck with the noco brand.
I keep all our cars, dirt bikes/scooters and equipment on trickle/storage chargers. I have good luck with battery tenders. I wire up the quick connect plug and...
You want narrow tire in snow, hell even my truck has stock size all terrians. I watch people try to get up the mountain back road all the time with their wide no sidewall tires. All they do is slide off the side.
All seasons do not even come close to a dedicate winter tire. I run drag radials...
I just ordered an aluminum one from gulf coast driveshaft.
I am trying to get my car in 10s no headers. Just some weight reduction and tune before I slap some boost on it
