You can also pick up some plastidip from Lowe's or Home Depot. We used it on son's Mustang. It's quick to apply and lasts for years. It's probably a much cheaper option than what CJPP is charging. To apply, tape off the areas surrounding the badge, spray the plastidip liberally, let dry...
I traded in a 21 C8 Corvette for a 19 GT350 last year. While everyone else thinks I made a mistake, it was a great decision. The GT350 is a raw and visceral car. I couldn't be happier with the 350. If you get a chance to track it, you have to do it. The car is amazing on track, especially...
I've had the redline hood struts on my GT350 for a year with no issues. Fitment is perfect and they work very well. They're a little more expensive but you know what they say - you get what you pay for. Sometime it's worth paying a little extra.
Michelin PS4S are a fantastic tire for daily driving and the occasional track day. Cup 2s just wear 2 fast on the street. I'm running Apex VS-5RS 19x11 ET52 all around with an admittedly very aggressive tire width for the street - 305/30R19 fronts and 325/30R19 rears. Next time I pick up...
I'm specifically looking for sound but there is a separate thread on the Fabspeed sport cats that is extremely extensive. They offer both fantastic sound and a claimed 21whp gain and 27tq gain, substantiated by several form members. All with no CEL, not tune. At $4k, understandably so for...
Headers require a tune, sport cats don't. It's the tune that voids the warranty. The Fabspeed sport cats don't trigger a CEL like the headers would and don't require a tune so they don't void the warranty. Axle back and cat back exhausts are also fine, as they don't require a tune...
I picked up a 2019 GT350 last year and absolutely love it. It's a fantastic track toy and the sound is glorious. But, as we all know, there's always room for improvement. I don't want to go down the long tube header route, as I don't want to put a tube on the car and void the warranty...
Has anyone purchased anything from Speedzone Performance? I've got my eye on a couple of things on their site but the prices seem too good to be true.
Here's a link to their site? Any feedback would be appreciated before I pull the trigger on a purchase.
They're pricey compared to flow formed wheels but the VS-5RS wheels are fully forged and 1/2 the price of other forged wheels. I was also looking at GS1R's, which are the same weight but $7200. At $3700 for a fully forged wheel, the Apex Sprint series wheels are a steal. I bought them...
Apex VS-5RS - they look awesome and are only 20.4lbs. I shaved about 13lbs per corner of stock. They look great and make the car much more nimble on both street and track.
