I am looking for seat cover suggestions for my 2018 GT350. It does not have the recaros. I only need covers for the front seats. I have searched some of the options on other threads but have not come across anything conclusive yet. I came across these covers from Auto HQ. They seem to be fine...
Just updated the lists for chassis J1947, a 2018 model. Hoping to get/find the kit and filter wrench, but I'm the 4th owner 😬 so we shall see! Also emailed Ford per the first post to see what they can tell me.
It does appear that way, good eye! Part number matches too. It had an adapter on the shaft and a washer to stop it from going down too far.
Interesting that a real carbon fiber Ford Performance part felt so . . . Cheap and plasticky.
In unrelated news I have a Ford Performance shift knob...
I would not expect rod knock to get better with temperature but I may be wrong. If it is rod knock personally I'd get that checked sooner rather than later by Ford.
If it's piston slap I've read it's just a thing with the Voodoos and nothing to be worried about as long as oil consumption...
Installed the Billetworkz GT350 weighted shift knob. Bought the car with the clearly fake carbon fiber plastic ball (which to be honest I didn't totally hate, felt and performed fine and at least matches the carbon fiber theme the previous owner had going on).
Love the way it feels. May be...
I think everyone in this thread has missed the original post that stated this was in a 5.2 Voodoo from a GT350 and not a Coyote motor. Unless this distinction doesn't matter and I'm taking crazy pills.
I also get a decent amount of audible piston slap with light throttle between 2-3k when...
+1 for checking out the Enthusiasts Garage YouTube channel. Watch all his videos on the GT350 to date and nearly all of your questions will be answered, plus you'll have a decent list of things to look for/add to the car in quick order if needed (namely jacking rails, Sliplos, rock guards, and...
Got my SVE R350 wheels and brand new OEM Michelin SSs installed today along with new TPMS sensors (not really sure they were needed but I got them anyway). Plus an oil change about 2k before my next interval for good measure.
HUGE thanks to @Dharri21 for the rear wheels. Without him I'd still...
Forgive me if I'm using the wrong terminology as this is my first foray into aftermarket wheels, but I recall the project 6GR wheels being much more concave and being more aggressive regarding the offset leading to more "poke." I do know they fit with no rubbing issues but I just like the "flat"...
Hey everyone, thanks for all the replies. I think these wheels will work so I'm going to pick up a set when they come into stock here soon.
@Need4SpeedMotors thanks for the suggestion, but I actually compared the Project6GR wheels you suggested with the fitment of the SVE wheels and I'm more...
Good to know, I was thinking in videos the lug nut holes looked pretty small!
I know 19-20 brought slight tweaks to the cars including wheel design, so I wonder if that would affect fitment on a 2018? I'll have to check specs after work but if anyone here knows offhand I am all ears.
Also in...
Thinking about picking up a set of the SVE R350 wheels from LMR and putting the OEM tires in OEM sizes on my 2018 GT350 (needs new tires anyway, still has the original tires!) so I can actually have matching wheels all around and keep a clean look. I really like the way the R350 wheels look...
Hey everyone, having a hard time finding one (1) single front wheel. I've looked at a few of the suggested sites and it looks like they're waiting for one to come into stock for now. Wheelexchange.com has a set of 4 with a slick coating for around 1850 after shipping and taxes, but at that...
Don't even know where to begin with this one, I am so frustrated with myself. Had the car since January 2023. A few weeks ago I posted about replacing the center caps to OEM. Someone pointed out I had 2019-2020 wheels with the slight redesign instead of the 2018 wheels that should be on it...
Very true - and I just went and looked at the differences, aesthetically I can't say I'm upset. I prefer the 19-20 wheels and they're OEM so I'm happy.
Slick ride man, those white letters on the splitter, I need to get that done soon.
Luckily I'm in Florida, so it's an everyday car for me!
Huh, interesting! I guess if something happens to these wheels I won't have to worry too much about ruining the "original" wheels then 🥲 the joys of being the 4th owner 🙄
It's a 2018 and I haven't changed the wheels, so I don't think they are the gloss black wheels, although when they are cleaned up they do have more gloss than they have in those pics.
Replaced the wheel caps from a previous owner to the OEM caps. Way better look IMO, plus the one on the passenger front wheel just straight up fell off somewhere along the way. Just in time for her to go into the shop this week for paint correction and ceramic coating - wheels included (as you...
