  2. Recommendations: Best Low NVH Rear Diff and IRS Bushing kits?

I have the BMR solid alum cradle and diff bushings, and I agree the difference is night and day with the way the car handles now.. Yes there is some more noise coming from the diff but its a trade off.. It is a little noisy (gear whine) at slower speeds but up past 25 mph its just as quiet as...
  3. Tired of not getting traction......

I run 305/30-19 kumho 730's squared on my car and zero issues with hooking up from a dig it will spin a little bit but nothing a little foot work with the right foot won't fix... I do launch it hard from the starting line at auto-x events.. After going with solid alum cradle and diff bushings I...
  4. Big insurance increase (State Farm)--anyone else?

My insurance rates went up as well, I decided to put the mustang on my classic car policy with my other classics at the first of the year through hagerty and just kept the truck on the main policy.. Even still the cost of the truck insurance went up $50 a month since this time last year.. I have...
  5. Vibration after an autocross event..

I figured I'd update this thread.... After 2 auto-x events and a track day I'm happy to report the car has been working flawless.. Those solid alum bushings got rid of the wheel hop completely from a dig, on track the rear end is planted and no more squirmy feeling from the hind end.. Anyone...
  6. torn driver's side diff bushing

Both of my upper bushings were toast, I replaced them and the cradle bushing with solid alum from bmr... the difference is night and day in the way the car handles.. Just another option..
  7. How do you not break your MT82?

I beat on mine during auto-x and track day events and never had an issue with the trans.. I do regular fluid changes, I don't slam it in gear and don't do that no lift shift non sense either.. I have owned the car for 3 yrs now with no complaints..
  8. OEM rubber differential bushing repair. Anyone done it?

I went full send and replaced the cradle and diff bushings with solid alum ones from BMR.. The rear of the car feels some much more predictable and planted to the ground. That is always an option as well...
  9. Benefit to square wheel setup vs staggered?

I'm running a squared set up 19x11 with 305's. The reason is so I can rotate tires, I track my car and hardly sees the road anymore but when I do drive it, it tends to wander around thanks to the wonderful roads here in Charleston SC... These cars look great with big rubber on all 4 corners!!
  10. Mcleod RXT vs Vengeance stage 2

Beefcake is who I always go to when I need parts as well! Those folks are the best to deal with!
  11. PittRace HPDE Tips?

Ive never had the mustang there yet...I used to run my track prepped G body a lot there.. I used the curbs a lot, just make damn sure your brakes are in tip top shape turn 16 I believe that is the number? (Its last turn before you get to pit row) that turn will sneak up on you and before you...
  12. Vibration after an autocross event..

Well, it’s been a hot minute but I finally got the car off the jack stands this morning and was able to take it for a test drive.. First thing the gear whine and clunking is there but no where near as bad as some say it is.. I noticed it more at 20mph or less mainly I hear it in the cage...
  13. Vibration after an autocross event..

I did watch a few videos on the ole YouTube and removed them that way.. Sawzall the rubber out and then cut the metal shell then beat them out with chisel and hammer.. I'm horrible about taking pictures but I'll try to show the install from here on out.. Those factory bushing are flimsy
  14. Vibration after an autocross event..

For sure they are, I have the cradle dropped and stripped now...getting those factory rubber bushings out was not an enjoyable task lol now that I'm in there I'm going to replace all the rubber bushings with poly on the control arms front and rear.
  15. Is this common? Rear Diff seal leak.

Most likely the axle seal or seals are leaking.. Not the most fun job to replace though..
  16. Vibration after an autocross event..

A little update. I had the tires checked and they were indeed off balance and with the tore bushings on the diff I went ahead and ordered the BMR solid alum bushings for the cradle and diff.. now the fun of dropping the cradle 🙄
  17. Car Insurance

I pay $1350 a year through hagerty for 4 vehicles.. I figured that wasnt bad considering they are insured in South Carolina which has crazy high rates where I live..

Bringing this up from the dead, all the pictures I see of the energy suspension cradle bushings do they have a metal lip around the flange as shown in the pitcures online can anyone confirm?
  19. Vibration after an autocross event..

After looking the rear end over real well I decided I'll drop the cradle and just replace all the bushings well i have it apart.. Has anyone used the energy suspension kit 4.18127G before? I'm not sure about poly bushings for the cradle though a solid bushing just makes more sense to me.. It...
  20. Vibration after an autocross event..

It was smooth till the speedo hit 55 or so then I could feel the shimmy in the rear end.. that is when I looked under and seen the center section moving around some.. then noticed the tear in the upper or rear bushings on the diff. I'll have to figure out how to approach this issue, poly bushing...
