SOLVED - replaced fusebox with the harness connected to it and car fired right up. looks like alternator is overcharing a bit too and we are thinking it has to do with the way the boost leash is wired
We’ve pretty much figured out all the wiring on the car at this point and have rewired a lot. Thing is the was was perfectly fine when we drove it and such. Even shut it off and started it a few times as well. The owner had loosened up the suspension to make it not so stiff on the trailer ride...
Used pcm (same p/n) now has connection to obd and fuel pressure is back. Plugged ids in and would still lose communication when trying to connect with the pcm.
thanks for the reply brother. i had a ford guy come out and try to reprogram the pcm i replaced. all modules were working but it still couldnt get into connection to the pcm, the bar would load then stop then fail. im thinking maybe a pin or wire is no good.
Car is now communicating with the used pcm i just bought now we just need to figure out how to progrma this new ecu. Does anyone have a step by step procedure?

We have chased all the wiring, grounds, fuses, relays down and everything seems to be fine along with alternator, starter and new battery.
One thing to note is that when we first started diagnosing...
Since we have checked all the grounds and everything looks fine. Now it’s sounding like a possible sensor or bad module issue somewhere or maybe even the pcm. Tried plugging in forscan and it won’t even connect to the car. Saw some other posts about obd2 having communication issues but having...
So looks like I can have figured something else out. When I try to connect any device to the obd2, I see the lights coming from the device but it’s not connecting to any device. Did some Google searching on “no communication to obd and no crank” couldn’t find anything on s550’s but found a bunch...
We traced down every wire and figured out where everything went, wasnt that complicated. Every wire was tested along with the grounds, relays and fuses, also all the dtc's have gone away except the 2 evap ones. Tried reflashing the car again and it is still losing communication in the process.
