  1. Testing cold air box function!

I'm running the same. I want to improve their flimsy block off plate
  2. Alignment after many upgrades

The alignment dowel pins alone could throw it way out. There should be no issue. It just might take them a while. Dialing in the rear chamber using the OEM adjustment points isn't the easiest. I spent $160 for front/rear. Check your steering wheel alignment immediately. Some techs lean in...
  3. superchargers

Any lag before the wheaties kick in?
  4. superchargers

Way better than turbos. PD's are the best.
  5. No Glove Box Light?

You're not missing much. My 2020 has one. I had to shim the switch pin else the light stays on all the time .šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
  6. Map lights suck

IMO it's not worth the risk of damaging the lens.. only to have a socket push into the housing. Leave the lenses alone. Just drop the map light housing. Test the LEDs before reinstalling the housing. Also, before reinstalling the map light housing: Bend the 2 white mounting tabs back up...
  7. Map lights suck

CJ Pony videos are a great reference, but I always add at least 2x to their suggested install time. Any time the camera cuts away while Bill is installing.... you know that step is gonna be a b!tch. Yup, camera cuts at 2:20 šŸ˜°
  8. Map lights suck

It's not a bad install with a decent set of plastic trim removal tools. Don't use metal tools on the map light. Here's my install notes: post #61 My wife hates the bright vanity lights in the visor.
  9. limp mode after tune

If you did the install: Check for codes. Check any sensors touched during the install. Check for melted wires against exhaust. Data log. If you paid shop to install: Stop launching. Bring back to shop. Hold them accountable.
  10. Correction: Whipple Sends Single Pass Heat Exchanger with my kit, with Upgraded H/E?

What beefcake said. Whipple must find it more profitable to just include the standard HE. Itā€™s a costly process to legitimately substitute and track kit components based on individual order requests.
  11. For those who installed a Vortech

It should be similar to other SC installs. Just follow Vortechā€™s install instructions. Youā€™ll be modifying the hose on the clean side of the catch can. No tee fittings between the valve cover and the dirty side of the can. You can extend the dirty hose to relocate the can. There may be a check...
  12. Installing the FI interchiller on my Roushcharged Gen3 Coyote

Before summarizing this project, I wanted to run the car for a season with the added ~2 gallons IC coolant capacity. I'm extremely happy with the FI interchiller stage 1 kit. It has exceeded my expectations. The kit is outstanding quality. I wish that I could boast about crazy quantifiable...
  13. Hood Struts

Installing a self-tapping screw through the strut bracket and fender might be enough to make the FP struts stable. The bottom mounting brackets are such a piss poor design. Donā€™t buy the FPā€™s.
  14. Hood Struts

Hereā€™s a fix for the FP struts: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/diy-improvement-for-the-fp-hood-strut-kit-m-16826-ma.174043/
  15. Strut brace that will fit top mount super charger

That super snake hood might allow you to add spacers underneath the Shropp brace to clear the Whipple.
  16. URGENT HELP PLEASE - Tracker device stopping the car from running after mapping

Hopefully this isnā€™t your daily driver. Cars are pain. You need to be patient but persistent with the shop. Be careful bringing other technicians into the mix. It could create ammo for the shop to point the finger elsewhere. The install is not complete! Thereā€™s a list of diagnostics that need...
  17. URGENT HELP PLEASE - Tracker device stopping the car from running after mapping

If you brought the car to the shop in proper working order, be sure to hold the shop accountable to make it right. Sharing what work was done to the car might help lead to the answer.
