as others have said, this is 100% normal. i have seen many brand new vehicles with rust exactly like this come off the transporter and into the dealer. it's just the result of exposed metal being pretty reactive on it's surface, the only way to prevent it is to stop the metal from being touched...
guessing that means the EcoBoost will not need a disclaimer, then, a new deck lid and fixing the 2 dents will probably be less than $1100 (it's MSRP is $36,485.00). the Mach 1 sold hours after it got to the dealer and didn't even get cleaned before the customer saw it and saw the damage
i dont blame you, i'm a bit suspicious of them too
we've been getting more damaged vehicles than usual in, though, including Mustangs, Transits, and F series trucks, so i'm kinda inclined to believe them. on the other hand, getting through El Mirage in a week sounds abnormally fast for that...
My dealer got 2 Mustangs in today, both had front and rear damage, transporter drivers say it's because of the derailed train earlier in the month.
The damage happened to Mischievous Purple Mach 1 and EcoBoost
Finally getting around to selling the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires my Mach 1 came factory with.
Asking for $1000 or best offer, local pick up in the Cave Creek or North Scottsdale area (or most areas north of the 101, east of I17). Will not ship. These tires have less than 10 miles on...
i had this horrible squeaking sound and i thought for sure the valve was just a bit sticky. it was enough to disable exhaust modes until i did the relearn thing (let vehicle go to sleep, go to accessory mode and wait 20 seconds, turn off and let it go to sleep again, turn on engine) and would...
I appreciate the suggestion, but a tech at my work fixed it under warranty, part was quick to get here as a nearby dealer had some. everything is all good now
the diffuser was very easy to install, just 3 7mm bolts on either side, plus 4 more in the middle, but the mounting of the part under the reverse light is different, so i have parts coming to fix that and for now it's just hanging freely, but there's been no issues because of it.
no modding of...
yeah, the fitment still needs work, and a lot of it
it was such a hassle to get the system in place that my dad and i called it good enough for now, though
it's almost as if the vehicle wasn't designed to have this system
as the title says, i took the catback system of a GT500, cut off the mufflers, and put them on my EcoBoost.
it's a lot more difficult than you would think, but it works fairly well
(yes, i know i need to clean it)
i bought the diffuser, and the mufflers are warranty parts from work that Ford...
