Paid $525 last week for my 2019 premium.
Sticker was 49K but I got a smoking deal on it.
Paid $215 for a 1995 Chevrolet C1500 yesterday....This state sucks
i used a battery powered ratchet....If you don't have one get one might be the best tool I have ever purchased...lol
I didn't have any issues with the nut but I will say that my hands look like they hit a cheese grater with a couple wounds. There is a bunch of sharp metal that you are working...
Did mine this weekend...easy 5 minute deal didn't have to remove anything just get down in there and un do the one bolt. Un plug the connector when loose. Plug in and re bolt it in.
Sounds the way it should have from the factory.
I have owned several CA compliant Magnuson kits over the years and have never had a single issue. The fact that VMP and Magnuson are working together will be great for the community. I hope they can offer a bolt on trouble free kit that flat works on 91 octane. The Edelbrock kit is very nice but...
Let me know if Magnuson/VMP need a stock test car out here in So cal for calibration. I have Worked with Magnuson in the past and they were great.
Kit looks great hopefully they can nail the 91 tune.
How did you run the car?
Sport with TC on?
The car will absolutely ET better if you can keep traction in drag mode. The MPH is still the biggest issue with these cars if T/C is off and not limiting power.
Fingers crossed for you!! :)
Only have 91 in CA and I'm sick of mixing torco/91 on my g8 so upgrading the fuel system and going flex fuel because it's a pain and expensive.
I don't want to do that on my daily.
I agree flex or straight e85 seems to work great NA.
Alot of guys want that warranty or a 100% California emissions legal kit and from what I'm seeing right now the kit just isn't working as advertised on pump gas.
I hope everyone gets it figures out. The edelbrock is a beautiful kit from a...
I don't think California will see any part of a tune when you take the car for smog. If the kit is carb approved and you leave the factory cats you should be golden.
Smog these days is a joke. They just plug into obd2 and look for codes and CEL's.
Aftermarket tune will probably run cleaner...
Whats false?
I said there is no difference in "non" mag ride S550's. It doesn't matter if its a base ecoboost for a pp1 car.
If it doesn't have mag ride you should be able to use the same springs on any of them.
Mag ride cars don't like to be dropped more than 1/2" give or take and there are...
interesting... is there 91 tune set up for that much boost?
I am debating the stage 2 not really for the extra power at this time but because everything you get for the extra $$$ is a deal and I don't want to piece it separate. I would prefer to run less boost until I convert the car to E85 and...
I now have the rear camber adjustment kit and camber bolts from steeda on my work bench to install. I am very proficient in working on the S550 at this point with how many times I have had the front suspension apart...lol
Wish I would have had all the info and parts needed when I originally did...
I just did the steeda progressives. They ride really good and they eliminated the annoying PP1 rear bounce my car had.
The car came down way more in the front than I expected and had to use there lifting plates to keep the car from rubbing inner fenders with my aftermarket wheel/tire combo...
Out of curiosity what all is different between the stage 1 and 2?
Boost difference?
injectors, BAP,TB and intake?
Will the stage 2 fuel set up handle E-85. I don't think it will so I would have to go with a different set up down the line.
