  12. GM is pulling back on EVs

Unfortunately, the economics is still hard to justify and it should have been getting better by now. The cost of most EVs are still high and the insurance companies are now charging big premiums for them. Insurance companies never miss an opportunity to gouge. A big let down to everyone involved...

  15. GM is pulling back on EVs

Big story here in Chicago with our extreme temperatures. Several Teslas going dead while parked at the airports, requiring a tow to a charger. This is really not acceptable. I was convinced that an EV would be added to my fleet, but now I have legitimate concerns.
  16. Shocked by medical billing.

I agree. You are getting ripped off. Typically your 20% comes after the discounts are calculated. You pay 20% of that net cost. Maybe itā€™s different in the state where you live, however. That is a very bad insurance deal your employer negotiated or your state allows the insurance companies to...
  17. Shocked by medical billing.

You are allowed one annual wellness checkup with Medicare and it should be covered with the exception of maybe any special blood tests beyond the norm. Maybe you hadnā€™t paid your 2023 Medicare deductible yet, and that was passed onto you? I never get any extra charges for my annual wellness...
