They said 4-6 weeks. I'm just not sure if I'll put it on this car, or sell it and buy a c7 z06. Texas is mainly long flat roads. So being good in corners isn't that big of a deal, and the z06 corners just as good, but goes faster in the straights.
This forum is so full of haters. It's his car so he hooked it up his way.
Lowering springs are bad
Forced induction is bad
Air ride is bad
Tech pack is no good
Upgraded radio is stupid
I'm trading mine in on a vette. This car isn't that special. Jeez!
Why are so many on this forum against a blower or turbo? I think this motor is perfect for a centri or turbo. High rpm means more hp with less boost needed. The compression isn't that bad. C6 z06's are 11.5:1, and people put forced induction on those all the time. Just need meth or e85.
Don't start with that crap. It's my car. I'll make it sound and look like I want. I didn't buy it for the "voodoo". I bought it cause it seemed like a good starting point for a mustang
Took it to the 1/4 mile track to see what it'd do. Only ran 2x and best was 13.009. 60 foot times sucked. I'm going to go again in 2 weeks and try launching at 5k.
I spanked a cammed 6th gen ss Camaro and got killed by a 10 second GTR. Lol
I changed my oil today, and the filter was a bitch to get off. I had to hammer the filter wrench on. Then it took a breakover bar to get it off. Good thread, and thanks for the help.
If I ever changed, I'm not spending money to have R knock off wheels. I'll go with something completely not factory looking. For now, the factory wheels are good.
Reading all this saddens me. I had an LS7, that GM wouldn't stand behind. I've had a 350z that consumed oil and Nissan would stand behind it. I had a 335i with issues that BMW never fixed. I really am hoping ford does us right. If so, I'll buy Ford forever. If not, this will be my last Ford, and...
I'm not asking to not hit limp mode on the track. I'm just asking not to hit it off the track. This really shouldn't be an issue. Does removing the cats help keep tranny temps down? Will it need a tune if you do? That'll void your warranty
I haven't hit limp mode, and I hope I never do. I bought this car to replace my C6z06, and drive it to work or wherever. I don't plan on ever tracking it, so that's why I didn't buy the track version. I hope ford releases a cooler add on and does it for free or really cheap.
Calm down bro. Nobody is claiming they don't exist. We are just saying they're not felt as bad as others have reported. I'm sure there's vibrations, but it's not something they didn't design on while in engineering.
