Been a busy couple of weeks. Summer is Lemons race season, and bowling tournament season, so haven’t been doing much with the Mach.
However, did get it to and back from the dealer so they could fix the inadvertent scratch they put in it. Not only did they fix it, you can’t tell where it was...
Got her back from the dealer a couple days ago. Recall done, oil changed, finally found and fixed the problem with the rear air bag light error. I also had a faint low speed grinding/squeak coming from the left rear….turned out to be a loose axel nut. Overall dealership did a great job...
Nothing to the M1 cause I’m at Sonoma for a test and tune on my lemons car. Some very nice Mustangs today. 2019 GT350, GT500, some dude in a 96-98ish Cobra.
I find this thread very interesting, and the different perspectives interesting. I’ve considered one of the 911 variants on multiple occasions, but have always ended up going a different direction for one reason or another. (Still plan to own one, one of these days.)
I’ve owned/leased roughly...
I think @ihasnostang and @tosha summed it up best. It comes down to what you’re looking for. I’ve used both set ups, and extensively researched a number of options before going Catalyst.
For me, it came down to simplicity. The Garmin just works, and does so, pretty much every time, with very...
Following with interest.
I have ave only used mine for the M1 so far, but plan on using it next week for a test and tune on my Lemons car. Interested if there is a fix in the event I make a mistake.
Would also be interested to know if it can be edited if the wrong driver was inadvertently...
Finally saw another one out in the wild. I was too slow with the camera and missed a much better pic of him under the parking lot lighting. Beautiful FJG, looked factory new.
New shoes. First time driving the car with anything other than the Cup2s. Much better experience with PS4s. The car was a handful on the street with Cup2, so much smoother and almost no wrestling with the steering wheel.
Oh, and this beaut was parked in front of the dermatologist’s office...
Not sure if this is your issue, but…..Remember if you live in a day light savings time area, and have sync use GPS for time, it doesn’t account for DST. UTC which is the GPS standard does not use DST. Have had this issue with Ford sync for years in a number of different vehicles. Fix is to sync...
Most people with the HP cars run PS4 in 305/315 or Conti in 305/325. I’m actually about to pull the trigger on some PS4 for my HP M1. Just curious why you want to go down in width vs the OEM widths?
Just wondering if there is some benefit I’m unaware of?
FJG is the signature color for the M1. I don’t know the breakdown of how many were made in each color, but I suspect it was probably number one, which may account for why you saw so many.
I don’t think you’d have any issue reselling it. If anything, in a few years people who couldn’t afford...
Yeah, used to have one nearby that was awesome, then the dealership changed hands and they went to sh*t. I bought my Focus RS from Morgan Hill back in the day and the service bays were filled with a combination of Ford Specialty vehicles and heavy commercial trucks. (F350/F450) Based on what was...
Maybe finally found a dealership I can trust to work on it. Have not had positive experiences with dealerships near me, so drove an hour to Morgan Hill Ford, because they have a solid reputation.
Dropped the Raptor off for a front timing cover leak. All sorts specialty Fords out front. If they...
I guess I described it incorrectly. Yes it bangs off the rev limiter. But you can very much feel it pull fuel and cut power. “Falling on face” was probably a bad way to describe it.
Regardless, the 7500 RPM limiter is there, regardless of what rev number the instrument display lets you set.
