I can't imagine a scenario where the base gt350 doesn't wax a new ss camaro. I haven't driven a 2016 ss camaro but it can't be as good of a package as the 350. Maybe I'm biased..... Not to take away from the track package, because I'm sure it's awesome, but I bet the base v. Track (or tech)...
