Just picked up my 2016 GT Convertible

Nope. The damn thing didn't even ship until 8/20 I believe it was, so it sat there for 17 days :frusty: Supposedly the delivery date is now 9/7 but who knows maybe it will get here sooner... I'm not holding my breathe after my experience so far though. I've just resigned to it will be here when...

I'm not sure that's true, I think it includes 2016s as well. Just to double check this I pulled up the incentives for a 2016 fusion and it still showed. It is not showing yet for the 2016 mustang but it says to contact your dealer for retail offers (obviously still a lot of issues to work out...

My DORA and window sticker both just say "Ceramic" so I agree that it must just be a typo on the website. Plus ETIS just calls it "Soft Ceramic".

I see that the 2016 build and price shows "dark ceramic" instead of "ceramic" like it was on the '15. Did they change the color slightly of the ceramic interior?

Has anyone's '16 been released for shipping yet? I'm still waiting for mine to be released (and praying that it actually is released hahaha). Here's to hoping the initial '16 run goes A LOT smoother than the '15 did.

yours shouldn't have quite the QC process mine is having. The first ones off the line are evidently being scrutinized more closely for issues.

Yeah production has started. Deysha helped me out and let me know that mine was built Monday but it is still tied up in QC. Hopefully it will be released from that soon. Thanks Deysha!

Mine shows a build date of 03.08.2015 on etis. It seems odd that mine would update but yours hasn't?

I would love some pics as well. Mine was built yesterday so it is currently undergoing all the QC checks.

Hahaha sorry! I really wish Ford would offer factory pickup as an option everyone. It would make the wait suck just a little bit less.

Just got off the phone with Ford customer service and they told me my mustang is still in production with an estimated delivery of the 16th-22th. Praying it will be closer to the 16th:ford:

My car is being built today and I worked out $600 below invoice along with whatever incentives are available when the car arrives later this month. Now if my salesman can survive my bugging him until it arrives.

My blend date is the third of August and Deysha was kind enough to give me an ETA to my dealer of the 23rd so 2-3 weeks seems likely. That is if QC issues don't set us back.

My window sticker went live this morning. I'm showing a blend date of the 3rd of August. Now just to get back to the waiting game :ford:

Just got back from my dealer and after ordering my car in early May I was finally able to sit down and work out a price with them. I'm now all set for $600 below invoice plus whatever incentives are available at the time of delivery. Now just to resume the waiting game until it's here in late...

Thanks for the info. I tried that but it didn't work, I'll give it another shot when I get closer to the production date.
