I installed the MGW shifter and QA1 driveshaft in about 6 hours and it runs flawlessly. At all speeds I have no vibrations. Definitately a noticeable improvement over stock.
So do you guys think these numbers could vary a lot from car to car or would they be pretty close? I mean your measurements are in fractions of a C hair right?
So I have a QA1 shaft in my garage that was just delivered and now I'm terrified to install it. Is there a chance that I can install it as carefully as possible and NOT have any issues or should I be expecting some NVH? I mean that is pretty scientific stuff there that I'm simply not...
My car is using oil. I'm not losing sleep over it as it seems pretty common... but I'm not pleased about the situation to say the least. It's runs fine and doesn't smoke. I don't get how an engine make oil disappear?
That's exactly right! When you lose it a bit... and then a bit too much... and let off the gas!!! and then the rear grabs you most likely will be pointed in the wrong direction and in for trouble.
I was there... poor guy... I promise you he turned off his TC. He started boiling them down straight off the driveway turnout and was never straight. When he went to shift he was still a bit sideways... then the rear end grabbed and chunked him sideways the opposite direction. Just physics...
