I'm sure it's completely okay to rotate those tires left to right, as they are asymmetrical tires, and not directional.
Could you give me your opinion of the Michelin as4 tires on your mustang pp? I'm particularly concerned with the steering response of this vehicle. I don't want to do the...
For anyone who has switched from factory PP1 to all-season tires, can you comment on the change in steering response? Are we losing much crisp response changing down to all seasons?
I'm particularly curious about the Michelin AS3+.
Thanks
Hi GreenS550,
Do you have any specific handling differences you could mention between the pzeros and as3+? Is the steering response comparable to the pzeros? How many miles do you think can be expected from the as3+? Thanks
Any negatives with the Michelin pilot as3+ vs the Pirelli pzero summer tire on the performance package GTs?
I'm particularly concerned I'll lose the sharp steering response of the summer tires going to an all season.
What's the realistic life to be expected from the as3+? I'm only getting...
I'm thinking of adding the phase 1 Roush 670hp supercharger to my 16 GT PP 6 speed, which is my daily driver. Does anyone who DD's their supercharged Mustang have any feed back? My car seems primarily highway driving.
How's the driveability? Is the fuel economy much worse? Any hiccups...
I must drive my Mustang GT harder than most, because what I watched in that video doesn't bother me at all. I redline and floor my car daily.
On the other hand, had the Ford tech done donuts, line lock, grinded gears, and bounced the rev limiter minutes on end, i'd be very upset.
While you might not notice an ultimate grip deficiency, you are going to be losing sharp steering response, going from summer tires to all seasons.
Personally I wouldn't want to give that up with this car.
I too grew up in the 90s with imports, particularly Honda/Acura Vtec cars. It took me a while to realize I love all high output performance V8s (American, German, Japanese, etc) generally over 4 and 6 cylinders.
Could anyone share how the sound differs with Roush axle backs with the OEM resonator, vs Roush AB with this resonated x-pipe from Magnaflow.
I have the Roush ABs alone, and they sound pretty awesome as is.
Thanks!
My visibility wasnt great after installing coilovers with a forward rake. After adjusting the headlights, it's proper again. The headlights are mediocere at best on these cars to begin with, you want to make sure they are properly aimed.
Yeah here in Massachusetts, we have the crappiest roads...maybe second to NYC. We have highway constructions everywhere. While everyone is driving 70-80mph through construction zones, I have to slow to 55-60 to prevent the struts from slamming the rubber bump stops when driving through highway...
Hi Niz55, please let me know if the rubber spring silencers make a differece. My setup was just like yours, without them...and at parking lot speeds, I too have some squeeky noises from the rear end.
Thanks
I do realize the upper strut bolt hole on the eibach coilovers are slotted for camber adjustment, however I was concerned of the limited range of adjustment. I rather do it right the first time, and not take my chances without a camber/caster kit. This was particually a concern for me as I had...
I do not know specifically.
I had my car realigned to GT performance package specifications for toe, camber, and caster. Do you have any caster issues after your coilover installation?
I have these Eibach coilovers on my 16 PP GT, in combo with camber/caster plates.
I too am very happy with them overall. This car is a daily driver, so I'm loving the ride quality. In fact, on most road conditions, they ride smoother than my oem performance package suspension. I have mine...
Those slotted rotors look excellent! Do you have any additional noises from those rotors?
I had a set on a previous car, and while they looked amazing, I told myself I'd never do it again, from all the added noises they produced.
