I’m not familiar with audison amps but typically a remote knob for a DSP amp can be set up to control any specific factor of the EQ. My JL knob has two dials which can be programmed for any desire. One ring controls sub volume and the other is for tweeter volume.

You’re comparing apples to oranges. It’s not like you’re doing an exhaust swap. You’re asking for opinions, I’ve given mine. No one has done this that I’ve seen so you can either try it yourself, or forget about it.
The problem would be determining if the canbus system is the same on both models. If not the switches won’t work. Also, the airbag module may not be compatible with the BCM. The 15-17 models have a different airbag than the 18-23 models.
There’s no setting for LiPo4 batts. You only need to change the setting from Lead-acid to AGM and you’ll be good. Do a BMS reset and you’re good to go.
They don’t come as separate pieces. You need to buy the front grill and the rear trim panel to get them. And they’re heat welded on so good luck removing them without damaging them.
