Wow that's pretty cool you got the 17s to fit up front!

Do you mind posting a pic of how much material had to be removed from the caliper?
This is the only pic I have, when I was prepping for paint. Definitely don't need to do this much or go this far back. I knew I was going to redo them so I shaved down a lot more than I needed to.

Looks very close on the rear. I have seen tires rub on hard launches at the track.
Yeah I'm planning to raise it in the rear before I take it to the track.

why not use a thin spacer rather than shave the calipers?
You’d need to use a 25mm spacer minimum to clear and these wheels already sit perfectly flush with the fenders.

So you grinded off around 25mm of material?

Around 2mm of thickness was removed. I grinded off the entire top and bottom surface so you couldn't tell they had been modified after painting them. You'd technically only need to do grind down about an inch or 25mm in to clear though.

Hard to tell how much and where you removed the material. Looked like they were very close to fitting before you had removed anything. And you're not using the spacer that's in your pics?

It was quite a bit of material, took a good hour and a half to grind them down. No, those spacers are for my stock wheels.

Will a Terminator rep wheel fit the rear of our GT's?

I bought early Cobra R rep wheels and they rub the caliper.

Running 17x10 D06 Hoosiers.

For an 18 X 8 in the front, what Offset should I be looking for?

Are the ones you have - that rub - the same as these?

https://www.oewheelsllc.com/Mustang-Cobra-Deep-Dish-Wheel-black_7

Reason I ask I found several posts where people show the 17x9 Cobra Reps fitting....

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2187213&postcount=19
these 17x9 specs (94-04 wheel) fit the s550 rear with 28x10 hoosiers and look like this from the front(ish):

Size: 17x9
Offset: +24mm
Backspacing: 5.85
